The language of poses and actions.
The language of poses and actions.
To understand your dog and to receive pleasure communicating with it, it is necessary to understand the desires of a dog that shows them through its actions. Dogs can't express what they feel with words. They use smell, poses, the manner of movement, special actions, mimicry, sounds to tell us something.
Dogs are the social animals. Their behaviour conserves the forms of behaviour in packs.
A dog always guards the territory. That is why when it goes for a walk it always marks the territory.
Mimics of a dog can tell you the intentions of a dog and its emotional situation.
A threat and aggression can be manifested by the wrinkled skin on the face. Bared teeth appear and the dog screws up its eyes. As a rule a dog looks straight at the object of aggression. This is the mimicry of the self confident dog that doesn't feel fear, controls the situation and is ready to attack.
If a dog is afraid it presses its ears to the head, the face seems to be elongated.
If the dog is not sure then it drops the tail and puts it under the stomach.
If a dog wants to tell you that it is ready to obey, then it bents the back, moves a tail between the legs, the ears are pressed to the head. When a puppy meets an adult dog it tries to lick the mouth of the adult dog, hides the back and shows the breast, falls at the back showing unprotected stomach.
