Dogs are luxury?

Nowadays people are so proud of the technological achievements, scientific progress that sometimes a thought that we don't need dogs any more appears. People say that nowadays they may be replaced by machines. So, people keep dogs for fun or if they have a lot of money. Is it really so?

Yes of course nobody uses dogs to transport things and to get from one place to another. They were replaced by trains and other means of transport. But still they are used in zones where the usual transport is not available. Dogs are still used to find drugs. They are used to guard zones and territories etc.

Keeping a dog really needs money. First of all if you want to buy a dog of a good breed, you'll need a good sum of money. Visits to doctors, medicines, a good collar, brushes and shampoos, bedding will make you spend some money too. Besides forage is rather expensive too. So, to keep a dog you'll have to spend a good sum of money every month. But it doesn't mean that this sum is huge. A dog is an available pet for every average citizen.

Of course if a person is rich, he/she can spend much more on his favourite pet. Some dogs live even better than people do. There are special shops where you can buy precious clothes, collars, plates, and other decorative things for your pet.

Some dogs inherit money, so people serve them and look after them till their death.

Still it is up to every person to decide how much money to spend on a pet. But of course a person shouldn't follow the blind desire to buy a pet and that's all. A person should consider his/her financial possibility to keep a pet, other way a dog and the owner won't have food to it.
