Dogfights.

Nowadays a lot is talked about dogfights. It is one of the widely discussed topics. There are people who support dogfights as the way of entertaining and at the same time the way to earn money. But there are also people who don't support the dogfights because they are too cruel and during it a dog may even die.

Almost in all countries the dogfights are illegal. But still there are a lot of fights held.

Dogs are carefully chosen and as a rule specially trained for such fights. From early age they are trained in the aggressive atmosphere for fights. More aggressive and stronger a dog is, more money a keeper will earn.

Those who support this business but don't take part in it agree on the necessity to isolate homeless dogs. They say that streets of cities are filled with homeless animals and especially dogs that can extend diseases and insects, can attack people and steal food from the cafes and restaurants. Besides, they may be taken by children from streets etc. The main idea is to take the dogs away from streets.

But these people don't think about dogs. Besides, dogs that participate in such fights are not taken from streets but specially trained from being a puppy. They are held in special conditions and as a rule are of special breeds.

So these dogfights don't help to take dogs away from streets. But they may harm dogs and sometimes even people a lot.

Sometimes you can also see amateur fights of dogs. The owners of dogs just have a bet whose dog is stronger and they make their pets fight. This is not a good idea, because the owners may suffer too because animals can be so excited after the fight that may also attack its keeper. That is why it is necessary to be very attentive.

Besides no one who really loves his/her dog won't allow that. If the owner takes care of his/her pet, he/she will always keep it healthy and wealthy.
